I listened to Crumit's recording of "Abdul Abulbul Amir" as a child when I had to stand on a chair to wind and operate the Victrola. This CD replaced the worn-out record, and gave me a much more complete picture of the man and his talents (plus the only photo of him that I have ever seen). His monologue "No News" is a real hoot! This is a great trip to yesteryear!
